Detroit, MI — BMW announced today it will offer up 300,00 coupes annually through 2019, with the company saying the offer includes more than just an affordable car.

“As our customers have asked for, we are happy to offer more options and to give them more flexibility,” BMW CEO Norbert Dohlen said.

BMW is also adding a brand new line of premium automobiles with the aim of expanding the market for its flagship models.

The announcement comes a day after Toyota announced plans to expand the range of Toyota Prius, with a range of vehicles including the Corolla sedan and a small hatchback model.

The company also said it will launch a new line with a new SUV, the SUV Plus.
