An auto gun safety product that has been in development for several years may soon be ready to go on sale.

According to a report in the Detroit News, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk has confirmed the auto gun-safe, which was developed by two California researchers, is set to be on the market by the end of the year.

The safety device has been developed using a variety of materials and technologies, including magnets, superconducting electronics and lasers, according to the article.

Musk said Tesla’s product will work by emitting a low-frequency pulse of energy to lock the gun, with a very short pulse that dissipates quickly.

According the article, the gun is designed to be easy to use and take up very little space, and can be used in emergency situations.

Tesla’s carmaker also announced last month it will make a new battery technology for electric vehicles, and the company also announced it is developing a solar-powered car battery.
